Ensuring safety policies are in compliance with Cal/OSHA, Fed OSHA, and contract specifications. Develop Site Specific Health and Safety Programs (SSHSP), Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), Heat and Illness Prevention Progam (HIPP), and Code of Safe Practices.
Prepare OSHA logs and reports. Provide guidance on OSHA inspections and citations.
Assist with Heavy Job (HCSS) setup, processes, and maximizing its functions.

Jesse J. Rivas
Founder
With over 20 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry, I bring a knowledge base based on a combination of project/field experience, experience as a senior-level manager, and an education that includes a BS in business management and an MBA. These experiences and education allow me to help resource-challenged businesses meet the compliance challenges that every construction organization faces.
With vast experience in the heavy civil construction sector, I have held roles that include Sr. Manager, Controller, HR Manager, Risk and Safety Manager, Operations and Compliance, Contracts Manager, Payroll Manager, Sr. Business Manager, EEO Officer, and Office Manager. The various roles I have held and becoming a leader in my organization and in my field provides the foundation of knowledge that I offer to my clients.

Developing effective strategies and processes specifically for small to medium-sized organizations. These strategies include building processes to ensure compliance with the following:
Human Resources, labor laws, regulations, industry standards.
Guidance on handbooks and associated policies.
Guidance on the shifting landscape of DEI, what it means to your organization, and how to navigate these evolving regulations.
Onboarding and offboarding processes, training and development, performance management, succession planning, retention, and talent acquisition.
Support with employee relations issues such as grievances, complaints, workplace investigations,
Disciplinary procedures for union and non-union employees.
Prepare for and/or manage EEO audits and EEO-1 reports.
Ensure compliance with State and Federal governing bodies such as EEOC, OFCCP, DIR, DOL, Civil Rights Department, and other local government entities.
